Nah if she's female it should be a bit nicer. Although I'm not sure how much the fact I was 21 when I got my first car affected it.
Mine was £600ish for a 1.2l clio.

I've been quoted 2.5k to renew my insurance on the 'mera. CIS just don't want me, but shopping around hasn't got me many better deals. No NCB 19 male I face a steep hill. I'm currently looking for a cheap banger myself that I CAN actually realistically afford to insure (maybe not run though

) in order to just accrue some bloody NCB!

One of my very biggest regrets is last years accident. If i could change anything that would definately be near the top of the list.

If I can get to 1 year's NCB then my insurance goes down to £300, much nicer.
Hoping to be able to get to 2 year's NCB and by then have more money so I can get a better car
