I have read a few threads in here about the 'gadget' cards that make it possible to d/l roms to them..

looks alright but i'd prefer my Cyclo DS Evolution

inbuilt memory sure is great - but its better to have expandable memory imo
2gb aint all that much anymore

I seem to remember them R4s are pretty cool

was a toss up between that and this Cyclo when i was lookin

another for the cycloDS - it's great! frozen-roms.net are good for roms, but you can get some packages off the bit-torrent trackers if you use them.

I don't think the R4 has as large a compatibility list as the CycloDS Evo - I might be wrong though

I'm not up to date on the hardware side of things these days, but there are plenty of ROM's about on newsgroups and I'd imagine on torrents as well. Plenty of us here have them too which I'm sure can be made available to you

Quick question. What's the biggest microsd card you can use with these things? I'm was tempted with either the M3 or R4, but now there is the CycloDS aswell

Looks like the R4 might work with 4GB SDHC cards. Can't comment on the rest, though they should all take 2GB.

I ordered the CycloDS Evolution yesterday. Unfortunately the company I ordered it from, the owner has been arrested - http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=22206

Might cancel the order and get it from elsewhere now.
