My manager rocks, I seem to be one of the lucky few.

I presume your boss gets annoyed with the decisions too? Or does she just pass it all on straight away?

I used to have so little to do at my previous job and it was done in such an obvious routine within such a short amount of time that I more or less told my manager that unless he had something for me to do I'd be reading news websites. To be fair to him he completely agreed with my choice of what to do and asked me for a quick summary of the news whenever he came into the office - I've never been so well informed about the world as I was then.
My current job seems to have so little to do on occasion that they've given me the task of sorting out records from previous years, this job has little to no point but apparantly comparing it to "sorting grains of sand" is not appreciated.

problem is the CEO is one of those I-say-goes people who has the authority to override any decision made, even though she has no knowledge of the industry :/ Last edited by Jasper; 24-10-2007 at 21:07. Reason: godawful phrasing |
