Aye. Doing Press Releases never hurts either, even if you waffle on randomly, they can be rewarded with money from your Sponsors, which is always handy

As much as you want really. You can set your default team and only make changes when you have to, and that's that. You can also spend a little time each week doing a press release and the sponsor activities to earn some money, changing your tactics, and buying new players. It really is up to you.
