Random poll: Relief
Which brings a greater feeling of relief: heat on a cold day, or cooling on a hot day. Something like standing under those heaters over the door in shops right in the middle of winter, or whacking the aircon on in the car on a proper melting hot summers day.
What say you?

I'll echo Haly here! Easier to get warmer than colder too!

I prefer to be hot than cold. When I'm cold my body just doesn't want to function. That said, I'd feel more relief from a cool breeze on a hot day than a warm draft on a cold day.

I don't like being cold and I take forever to warm up - I'm currently the only "Warming up on a cold day" vote

Depends, tuesday I would have said getting warmer. But I always prefer to be cold, can keep chucking on layers when cold, but when it's hot, you can't exactly take off your skin.

Getting a hit of something cold on a boiling hot day is awesomely refreshing. However, I prefer a cold day and the ability to snuggle to warm up. Hot chocolate, open fire.

Heat on a cold day is more of a relief to me

It's good to cool down when it's really hot, but nothing beats getting in from a long walk in the cold and snuggling up in front of a roaring fire.
Unless of course it's a roaring lion, equal heat output and the roar lets you know that he's already eaten so is unlikely to munch on you

Coming, as I do, from the Northern extremities of the British Isles, my body is more accustomed to cold temperatures (as well as driving rain and wind) so I do like to cool down on a hot day.
In the summer time in Egypt, the temperature gets up to about 35-40C, there's nothing better than nipping into an air-conditioned switch room for 5 minutes when one has been working in the heat for an hour. Getting warm when cold is also extremely pleasant but it takes a fair bit for me to get properly cold what with my built in Shetland tolerance and my several inches of natural insulation
