Whilst the cold never really bothers me, I'd rather be warm. So I'd say a warm up on a cold day is nicer.

I'm with the cooling down when it's warm crowd fwiw It's easier to warm up when you're cold than it is to cool down when you're hot.

Agreed Instantly feel better with a blast of cold air when I'm hot whereas getting warm just makes me sleepy

Cooling on a warm day, I'm rather obviously Scottish and the heat just does not agree with me, I can tolerate it for a while but since I don't feel the cold much at all I'm a hell of a lot happier on a cool day than a warm one. Perhaps it also helps that I love snowboarding so I'm one of the few people I know who is always looking out for some snow and then doesn't complain if it comes.

I don't function in the cold at all but I think I get more releif from cooling down on a warm day. It's instant whereas warming up is generally gradual.

Can I join that club?
Went to Bulgaria this week (as I'm sure you all know by now ) and they seem to have the heating on 'turbocharged' in a lot of places there. I dozed off several times on the first day in the office (in front of my boss at least one time) and did the same on the second. By that time, however, I learned a 'cure' - go outside and get cold. |
