There was a point where I couldn't spend long in my brothers house due to his cats, but that was almost 15 years ago now. The more time I've spent around cats, especially during recent years, the less they seem to affect me. This past Christmas we spent 2 solid weeks down at the Piggyrents with the cats and I didn't get itchy eyes, a runny nose or a tight chest once. When we've been to Karyns the cat hasn't affected me either. Whilst we were at the RSPCA yesterday, I made sure I rubbed my eyes, nose and around my mouth (I know it sounds odd

) after stroking the cat and I didn't really feel a thing. So I really think we're on to a winner. I'd never put having a pet before my personal health (although not long term damage, living with these ailments would annoy me). And I'm 100% happy that I'll not have any problems so we're full steam ahead. Looking forward to the visit now

As for Cassie (or Pebbles), she really is a cutie. I've never been a big fan of cats having always had GSD's in our family. But as soon as we saw her she came to the window and looked playful. I want a cat that comes out to meet people and is happy to play around and not hide under the furniture. And I think we might have found one
