This morning I went to the gym, then I did a bit of pruning in the garden and Leon helped me tear down 2 fence panels in our garden (they're rotten and need replacing). Then I filled my brown garden waste bin with cuttings from the horrible prickly bush I'm trying to get rid of and pulled lots of weeds and unwanted plants up.
This afternoon I'm going to finally install the new HDD on my computer, install windows and start transferring everything across. Then I've got to re-format my uncle's PC. And then I might make a lemon cake and cook sardines for tea. Tomorrow... god knows! I can barely cope with what today has to offer

Busy cat indeedy.
I've fished around for something to do next week to keep me busy & am going to sort my little Sisters back yard out. It's full of rubbish & broken things & all sorts of trash & junk. Fifty trips to the tip & some hard graft should sort it Home cooked meal plus making my little cousin Brookes' back garden fit for use is my reward |

At the moment Lynnie's dad is here putting in a shower for us as there wasn't one in the house when we got in. That means that although I'm currently on the laptop, I'm listening out for any shouts as I'll help if/when I'm needed. I've also set up our Sky modem as it finally arrived today, and I've put the 360 on the network so I'm finally back on Live again.
When Lynnie's dad has left I'll be setting up our new 42" TV which arrived today, as well as moving the new tumble dryer into place. Then it'll be a takeaway with Lynnie's mum and a film on the new TV Then I plan on kicking ass on Call of Duty 4 online when Lynne has gone to bed Tomorrow I may well set up the computer and start copying the important stuff to the external drive as I've got a new SATA drive to put in as well as a wireless network card. When that's done it'll just be the simple but laborious job of installing the new hard drive, installing Windows XP, and re-installing all of our programs and updates. Thankfully the laptop means we won't be without the internet so I can take my time with that

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. |

Spent the morning cleaning both rat cages out - Cmot is currently sulking as he had fallen asleep with his butt in chicken noodles so his fur was all yellow and sticky so I threw him in the sink He didn't actually seem to mind too much at the time but he knows if he sulks he'll get treats later
Had a friend come round and collect some boxes as she is moving house soon. Also friends are down from Manchester; Paul is heading back later this afternoon so he is here atm showing Mic how to play Hellgate London. Had a text from Loz who might be popping in later as she is in Southsea. Have a sh*tty headache which started last night and won't go away Cooking pork loins with minted new potatoes and steamed veg tonight and will be watching CSI: NY. No plans for tomorrow as yet (unless I've forgotten something) but I think I'll have to go to the shops to find something for dinner at some point. |

This morning popped down to Bromley to pick up a freebie engine. No head on it but the timing bits are useful. The rest will go to the scrapper.
Currently trying to figure out why my stupid HCPC is still refusing to pick up any hard drives. Getting a tad fed up with it now And shortly I'm off to the pub for a bit of a reunion. Tomorrow I'm working. |
