I REALLY hate cold weather!!

With a current wind chill of -36*C, things that normally aren't affected by cold are beginning to freeze, like our water main!!

I just spent the better part of the last hour with all the cats sequestered in the bathroom and the crawlspace door open. Why? Because I had to string an extension cord down there and go defrost our water pipe with a hair dryer!!

Did I mention I have an inordinately extreme case of claustrophobia? And I'm a bit of a nancy when it comes to bugs with 6 or more legs on them crawling down the back of my sweatshirt!!

But we have water again. \o/

Second time this winter it's frozen up. Looks like I'll have to get a line heater after all.

a Hawaiian friend of mine is in england at the moment and she's been complaining how cold it is here. it's 13 degrees C! even wih wind chill its barely hitting single digits. Hardly cold at all..
