Amazon Super Delivery
Just a warning don't use this delivery service as it's run through a company called Home Delivery Network and they are a bunch of muppets. Apparently they couldn't "find address" when I work in a large grey building with signs and flags saying where we are. So the hard drive I ordered didn't turn up and I doubt it will turn up now. So I've told Amazon to get the item back and refund me. I won't be ordering anything from them until they change couriers as I'm being forced to pay a premium to get my items on time.
Very cheesed off atm

Sorry to hear about that. I have to say though, I had the opposite experience this week. It's meant to be around 7 days or so for super saver delivery, but I ordered my books this Monday evening and they were left in our porch on Thursday. Brilliant!

I've also had stuff delivered by Home Delivery Network (not from Amazon) and can't say I've had any issues with them. Clearly you just got a muppet driver who either didn't care or couldn't be bothered.
Not sure if it's worth telling the depot when this sort of thing happens as (as can be seen here) that sort of behaviour gives both the courier and their customers a bad name, but if you get a depot manager muppet you'll get fobbed off. |

I only ever use super mega free delivery and have no complaints also. Sometimes things are delivered by a man in a tracksuit driving a Volvo Estate but they usually arrive within 3-4 days.

I'm sure Lom gets stuff delivered by these people, the usual driver is about 800 years old as is his car.

I just got 2 cd's from Amazon on their free super delivery thing. Came by TNT post, final delivery by Royal Mail. Fitted through the door thankfully
I've had stuff delivered by HDN, and can't say I was overly impressed, although they use branded vans round here. |

Had SS delivery from Amazon plenty of times with the same couriers. They just leave a card and I go and collect it. The only annoying thing is that the depot closes at 17:30, which is quite early.
