I saw The Damned at Shepherd's Bush Empire. It was a lovely venue.

Brixton is my usual weapon of choice
I've been to quite a few venues but Brixton is close and its a bloody brilliant venue Don't mind Hammersmith or the Roundhouse, hopefully Shepherd's Bush will meet with my approval, should be a good venue for GCWCF and We Are Scientists, the Mission tickets are seated BOO, but its all they had and I didn't want to miss it. I like Winter Gardens in Blackpool, mainly because I get to make a weekend of it! I saw The White Stripes there at the Empress Ballroom a few years ago. Awesome.
I loved Shepherd's Bush because it's all old and cosy. Really nice atmosphere.

I was a Goth through and through in my teen years. I saw The Mission live at Elgin Town Hall in 1988 (I think, it was a long time ago!)

Like the undead, this thread rises from the grave
Never really got into the Mission and can't say if I've listened to that album. I may have a dig around and have a listen to some of their stuff, if I can find any. I was a big Sisters of Mercy fan and saw them twice in Edinburgh in the eighties. Would love to see them again.
