So i got my Vit on Sunday for the Princely sum of 80 English pounds, It had Tax till April but No M.O.T.
I have spent just about every waking hour since then Fixing/Tweaking/Clagging/Painting/Cutting & Generally Bodging. I am happy to say that this afternoon it Passed its M.O.T. Lucky enough i got into my mates lock up last night for some under cover spraying action & spray canned the arches in after clagging them earlier in the day. Today i finished it off with the plaggy arches & a T-Cut to try my best to blend the paint. The rest of the work was done on Jims' yard so Thanks to him & to Joe for the help. I'm quite pleased with the results but thought I'd post & see what you lot think. It's fair to say that total the Vit stands me in 150 quid, That's with a Years M.O.T. & Tax till end of April. The car starts first time & runs perfect from the minute you touch the key, Everything works inside like the leccy windows & wing mirrors & even the Stereo is sound. All i need now are some tyres to stick on my Spare rims for Off roading & this job is Done. Here's the pics. Never going to be perfect & they are Cheeky wet shots but I'm happy ![]() ![]() ![]() Pure Skillz on the engine bay (Or 10 minutes & some Truck wash) ![]() ![]() ![]() It got dark but the interior came back well an all. ![]() |
