Thread resurrection

Been gradually giving it a bit more on the rower. Now at 1200m in 5 mins (max setting). I seem to be settling around 2min to 2:04 per 500. Which is a good improvement as I think I was around 2:15-2:20 per 500m.

I'm settling at around 30-31spm. One of these days when I don't have to do a full programme afterwards i'm going to go for it Still even now you do have to give it some

I should get down to the gym again. First time I used the rowing machine I set it too high and my tendons or something in my arms ached for a few days.

After that initial cockup I found it quite easy on 10. No idea what this 147/500 means though.

Make no mistake, rowing is brutal. The worst part will be your stomach muscles if you do too much. The above means 1min 47secs to do 500m. In other words bloody fast!
