T'was very odd indeed. Despite going to San Fran and other hotspots it's still my first.
Wobble, wobble, wobble. No sign of anything falling off around here, though I've not ventured out of this room yet. Wish I'd looked up to see stuff swaying though. Sky News have caught up. |

4.7, centred somewhere near Lincoln. Given that I didn't feel the Dudley one that's a bit surprising to me, but then again I may well have been asleep. I was pretty much spot on at 1Hz too. Last edited by Mark; 27-02-2008 at 02:41. |

And yes, I've been posting there too. PS - I was already on the internet (eBaying) at the time so didn't have to go anywhere. |

4.7 on the scale. I'm really quite freaked out. I thought my tumble drier was about to explode! And now they're saying the epi centre is just up the road from me. I dont think i'm going to be able to get to sleep now. Been out in the street with all my neighbous who are freaked out too. And i've been stood out with my friend who's across the road. Sorry am using my phone to post. Nn from a really spooked Tiggy, a toby who's just gone back to sleep, and a megan who's still snoring her head off

Btw, market rasen is about 15 miles from me. I am in lincoln, my parents are the same distance the other side of it that i am from here. Louth felt it at 00.55 the same as us. I really am spooked, that was one of the worst things i've ever experienced and i feel like it's still running up and down my back. Just spoken to mum again, she's experienced several earthquakes in several locations across the world and says she's never experienced that before.

It got to us at 00:58 and woke us both up. The birds all started singing, which I thought was odd. I put my head out the window to see if any alarms were going off or anything (they weren't) and check I wasn't completely insane. I thought it was nearly morning because I could hear a blackbird singing, so I checked my phone and it was nearly 1am. Really odd feeling. I had to come online to check it wasn't just us going mad and there were already 5 pages on OcUK about it!!

I felt in in N.London this morning. I was staying at P's parent's house it's a shorter commute. Knew what it was as there have been a few in Cyprus before - still wierd to get it in this country so strongly!

Been awake most of the night panicking anyway (babies got put into the old boy cage last night - it not going as well as hoped ) but didn't feel a thing - guess I'm just too far down.
