Default One for the students/under 25's

Young persons railcards went up to £24 this year but i found a 50% off code (that works, i just used it) which means for £1 a month you can get a 1/3 off rail travel. It can only be used on the YPRC online ordering, which you need to submit a passport or driving licence number as proof of age for.
SAVING12 is the code

Shame that doesn't work with the DPRC as well, though at least I qualify for that one for life.

And for those that aren't aware and are mainly in the South-East of England, you can still get a Network Railcard for £20 a year that gives a third off all travel within these boundaries:

http://www.railcard.co.uk/clientfile...CSD4c__A4_.pdf

Goes as far North as Northampton and West to Exeter, and pretty much covers everything inbetween. Mine paid for itself on the third trip to London I made, and by buying a ticket to Banbury I saved almost £20 getting to Liverpool. Unfortunately you can't use it on a journey that travels outside the catchment area, but you can buy a ticket up to the boundary and make a saving, then use another.

I was gutted the day I couldn't get a YPRC anymore.

NWRC is a bunch of old pants.

That's cheaper than a YPRC (without discount) and seems to do everywhere I go

Bargain Thanks for posting that Paula.
I've got a few trains to catch in the coming months so it'll be very handy Mine expired last year and I hadn't got round to renewing it.
