Wow! I've spent hours today looking on that site, and on the one that Goldilocks posted. I absolutely love exploring old, derelict places. We found a mansion that Mussolini comissioned (but never stayed in) in Rhodes a few years back and went back last year for some more pics whilst we were out there. Really eery, but absolutely fascinating stuff. Found a derelict prison and church too, but the mansion was the best. I'd love to go and check out one of the asylums, but don't know if I'd have the guts to do something like that as you have the added worry of security guards hanging around in the UK.

Sounds cool

Sneaking into places in the UK isn't difficult. There are plenty of places that you can get into without anyone ever knowing you are there, even if you travel to the site by car. As long as if you ARE seen you haven't done any obvious / provable damage you are fine as long as you leave when you are asked to. Security guards are rarely any bother either

Was that Deva/ Countess of Chester? It's recently been doscovered that it was painted that way (yellow and black stripes) for an art project/ exhibition and wasn't like that for it's proper use. Shame, as it caused quite a lot of pondering originally!

Highroyds Hospital

If you scroll down the main page to Barbra, a Nurses Story, that's your link

Shame.
