My friend arrived with this at the weekend and I found the wiimote - nunchuk control the most intuitive by far. The Wiiil is a bit gimicky.
It was fun with a bunch of us playing but I find the uber-weapons to be really annoying. Now if they released the SNES version on VC with online enabled.... I'd personally fly to Japan and deliver a big bunch of flowers to Nintendo HQ.

Have you tried the classic controller yet? Seems the easiest method to me.

I assume everyone is using manual

No. I tried the wiiil, the nunchuk/wiimote and GC pad.

Of course I went manual, I'm a Mario Kart veteran of over 10 years!

Damn.. maybe I'd be a bit more careful in future. I guess eating mushrooms or putting them in my fuel tank won't result in a speed boost either?

I love it. Think about the problems some of the new things would cause...the bullet, the ink... oh the fun you could have!

http://xkcd.com/423/

Wonder if anyone would fall for that in real life?
