Default Chunky Scotsman in XXL wetsuit shocker!!

Got off the rig for a few days until they're ready for us to rig up our gear for this new well and decided to take the opportunity to have a free introductory dive from the Padi dive school resident at the hotel here.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and if I get enough time before I have to go back to work, I'm going to take the 4 day open water course for what I consider to be the paltry sum of £237.

I loved my scuba experience while i was on holiday, started out in the pool and then went off round a quiet bay in Cornwall saw lots of fish and it was just amazing. Looks like you had fun too.

I used to dive in my younger slimmer days, I was a BSAC qualified Sports Diver

Its great fun but not so good in South of England as the seas here have very limited vis

For my certificate I do 2 days scuba training in the pool and 2 days open water training in the sea off Alexandria. After that I'm qualified to dive up to a depth of 18 metres in the company of any certified diver. Should be fun

I have a fab photo of us doing that somewhere off Corfu. Beautiful, if scary (when you need to cough it's very bizzare!)
