Well other merchandise is all good and well but for the costs of them manufacturing wise there's little or no point in me producing them for the public as by the time they're marked up... I wouldn't even buy them! So unfortunately, unless I look to get stuff mass produced (which I cannot afford as of yet) it's a no go show!
I did think £1.20 sounded cheap... but it is marked up by 3 and this is like a trades/car boot. I won't be pricing up all of the cards - there will be an overall price.... So.... I might plonk the price up a bit now... say £1.50... and then see how it goes. I can always change it through out the day Camden Market would be EXCELLENT and I would look to do that in the fooochure (hopefully when I can get some more merchandise like Tshirts and things). My local market is exciting enough as it is for now and it allows me to get a feeling as to what's popular/what's not! If you could find out some prices though Meimei that would be AWESOME! Gonna call the council in a mo and find out more about this stupid insurance policy gumph! |

Get this!
One insurance company quotes me: £400 per annum - and this is to cover only 15 days of actual trading with the public... and does not cover my vehicle/any loss of goods. Another one: £76 per annum - covering me 24/7 with the public, content/vehicle/machinery/goods etc. *hmmm which one to choose* *ponders* The latter quote was from The National Market Traders Federation which the council suggested to me! They provide advice and support and meetings etc. Sounds superb and at £76 you canny complain. So time to do some proper pricing and then going to ring the printers and knock them down price wise as much as possible. Oh oh oh! Yeh! Exciting! Found out too that I can hire a stool in town for the whole for for £10 only! TEN POUNDS! Thats blooming cheaper than the car boot with a much MUCH bigger market! Location wise it's not perfect as it's at the bottom end of town... but going to call up the Guild Hall and ... I guess Princess Hayes or whoever runs that and find out their prices too! I would be SO SO chuffed to have my own stall in town. How wicked would that be!??!?!?!!? *EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* excited! |

Also if you want any quotes on merchandise - mugs, tshirts, etc let me know.
I use a supplier for work but its a family run business and they are brilliant. BB x |

Bbx... I want you babies
I will probably ask you for quotes in the future... would be SUPERB! One of Rogers colleagues has just contacted me and asked me to do a post/flyer for a local car/motorcycle event (EAK! You've seen my cars - God help me!) If I can do something though I will be advertised on the local radio, the radio websites and on all the poster/flyers. Plus the organisers will probably want tshirt designs too with the logo on it. YAY! I have a project! Bloody cars though. Bah! |
