Tell me… what are your reasons for using FaceBook...?

FB is the only social network I use because it is simple and easy.

Hell, people who I always knew to be IT Illiterate are even on it.

I use it for:

-keeping in touch: with school/uni/college friends (agreed, some are nice to have contact with, others probably only friends as a result of a reunion)

-sharing photos: my brother is in Sydney and his Mrs is on FB - far easier than attaching photos to an email.

-remembering bdays :/

-work purposes

-event organising

It does annoy me when:

* People who have never even spoken to you at school just add you to get their numbers up = DELETE (I never spoke to you at school, what makes you think I want to now?)

* People are like: "OMG its so great to see you!!! how are you I have a daughter now ( *wubs Betty*) and I am married with my double barreled surname!!! We MUST catch up!!! xxxxxxxxxxx" I actually called someone's bluff the other day to see if she was free this weekend... she 'wasn't sure' hmmmm....!

* People send applications: I just delete em.

I use it mainly for stalking purposes and checking whether ex-girlfriends are looking better or worse.

Yeah I agree, but I do get people adding me who send a msg saying "I think your work's great" or clients / contacts I meet. So it makes me wonder whether I should be using it as a networking tool because it is good for that.
