My 30th is going to be spent in Dublin.
So nice of Crowded House to have a birthday party for me. Nice long weekend there.

Then, back off to Normandy to do more of the Beaches and memorials.

Will probably drive the Rouen Grand Prix circuit this year as well.

Bon Voyage Mark!

We just booked our sun holiday this year - £499 for both of us to Portugal

Thought we might aswell go for it and see what we get, the apps have had good reviews and it was a cancellation which is why it was sooooo cheap!

Disneyland Paris next weekend too woo hoo!

Somewhere hot for a week later in the year. Other half is off to France on a biking holiday with 27 other chaps and I get a week at home worrying about him - oh the fun ;-)

Replace the seat of his favourite chair with a bike seat. He'll love that.

*not that I've done that to anyone at all after he did Lands End to John O'Groats... no. Wasn't me... *

There seem to be several awesome people (and Will) going to Cyprus in September - I may have to tag along

My holidays for this year are a week in South Africa at the Kruger National Park (flying out May 31st, getting home June 8th) then a couple of weeks in Cyprus in September.

I may well take the entire month of December off work and bugger of somewhere for a week then

Have funno Markaroo!

We're going to Cyprus tooooo! Canny wait! Food is going to be nomtastic! I heart Cyprus!

Gonna try and go camping soon too (even if it's locally!) and then a France trip! I REALLY want to go to France! Picky hasn't been to Paris *SHOCK HORROR* so I am going to have to take him and let him awe at all the sights and foood and EVERYTHING! (REALLY want to do Moulin Rouge but don't think we can afford it!)

We're also looking into going to New York with a couple of weirdos... which reminds me... I had best look into this and see what's on Had planned on going for my 21st yonks ago - my Ma and Pa had put some money aside to help fund it for birthday goodness. Sadly though I couldn't go and well... I NEEEEEED TO GOoooooOoOOoOooOOOooo!

Looking at having a week on Islay touring the seven distilleries there and wandering about looking at scenery and stuff.
Also thinking about staying back after I get off the rig later in the year (when it's not so hot) and having a week in Sharm Al Sheikh.
Will probably be having a week in Lanzarote in November/December to join my folks for their usual three week holiday there, as I've done the last couple of years.

Our few days in London was probably the closest to a "main" holiday we'll get. Other than that it'll be weekends away to see people/mini meets at most; this weekend we're off to Manc to visit friends, that is currently it planned atm.

Just booked some return tickets to go to Hawaii at the beginning of July for a few weeks. I fly out a week after Lana heads back home to Hawaii so that I get a bit more time to spend with her. I do keep saying to her that's the main reason I'm going there, but to be honest its more the opportunity of swimming with dolphins (one of my lifelong dreams) that's motivating me
