Default The things you do when bored...

I really hate my hair. Doesn't do what I want it to do, which is look cool and compliment my head. So I put a hat on and ignore the problem. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. For the past few years I've been thinking of rebooting my head. Shave it off, start over. For the past week I've been so frustrated with it that I came close to doing it. Yesterday I decided to **** it and got it done.

This is a few weeks ago.

The other day when I decided I really hated my hair.

Today, the day after attacking it.

This is before and after...

So there you go. The things I do when bored and annoyed with something. Want something doing right, do it yourself I'm aware its probably just a tad too short but will hopefully look fine in a week or two. I have enough hats to hide it till its back Kinda funny though. I hated my old hair because i looked like I was going bald in photos. Now I've got less hair but I think it works.

It suits you.

I go for a shaven head not because I dislike my hair (although I'm not madly keen on the amount of grey there is!) but because I'm a lazy git and like the lack of faffing about that a shaven head needs.

That is a very good reason too. No hat hair. No trying to get it to work in the morning. Get in shower, get wet, exit shower and away I go.

My sentiments exactly. It was helmet hair (fnar) that made me get my head shaved the first time - when I'd been out on the bike my hair was always a complete mess.

Likewise - low maintenance haircut as I call it. Also, when my hair is longer, it grows in all directions and sticks up all over the place.

Suits you Pete.

Looks good Pete. Short hair FTW. Keep it that way, it's much cooler in the summer as your head doesn't get quite so hot

Cool. I was worried I'd gone too far. When I was shaving it off it looked ok. A good amount was coming off. But it kept coming off. Then I looked in the mirror and was like "OMG LOL! Oh well, can't turn back" so kept at it. My Dad was like "Jesus christ!" and my Mum thought it was too short but accepted it. My sister, a hair dresser by trade, is coming round today. Last time I asked her to cut my hair she left it too long because she claimed it'd look silly short. I wanted it shorter but meh. I'm expecting her to hate it But I'm happy with it. Its easier to manage and can't be any worse than the previous do.
