Dealing with French clients.
As we consider moving into the French market we are met with the challenge of the French refusing to speak English. We have decided to provide you with a simple three step process suitable for all management levels. This is provided at no cost by your ever helpful Support team.
E: Do you speak English? F: Vous Parlez anglais? E: Why not? F: Pourquoi pas? E: Go and find someone who does... F: Allez trouver quelqu'un qui fait...

Just be glad you don't deal with Italians (or do you) they are without a doubt, the laziest people on the planet. Tectonic plates move quicker than they do. Driving wise it's like demolition derby, especially in the centre of Milan.

To be fair I do like the French and I'm embarrassed by my lack of day to day French when they can conduct business meetings in English with little effort. Wossi, we deal with Italians and I agree with you there.

One of my friends worked in Milan for a bit and said staff would waltz in at 10/11am and leave at 4/5pm and go to the restaurant... almost every day!
Nice! BB x |

One of things I do love when I go over there though is the 3 hour lunches they seem to have. Coupled with the few glasses of wine and shot of grappa
