I've only ever managed to sleep once on a plane, and that was thanks to some painkillers/sleeping tablets on my last trip back from Florida. I'm fine going to the US, I just push myself till 10-11pm US time (about 3-4am UK time, pretty common for me anyway) and just get a good nights sleep. Coming back is harder though, I always end up having a mid afternoon nap for a few hours to see me through into the night on the day back. Never really feel it the next day back though.

It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

My sleep pattern is so buggered up lately.

To try and help myself sleep on the plane tonight I went out last night with some colleagues and didn't go to bed until about 4am. It's now about 8:30am so I'm hoping that if I'll be tired enough to sleep on the flight.

We shall see.

I very rarely sleep either, and when I do it's at most an hour or two. That's an absolute killer on an almost non-stop flight to Sydney.

It didn't work. Not that I'm surprised.
