That's nearly a two hour drive each way, bit far

I'm going to take a mosey to the local PC World and see what they've got. The ic3 I spoke to on the phone at the central number was very disinterested when I was asking for stock items and it took him all of 3 seconds to tell me that they were out of stock which seems too quick to me to even type in a location, never mind search for a part.

Correct - they all rebranded Currys.digital (last year I think).

Maplin. Don't bother though - says discontinued.

I'd go with the MX518, as a matter of fact if they still did the G7 I'd suggest that but you'll only get them secondhand now unfortunately.

I've ended up with an MX620 because that's all they had realistically. I wasn't going to pay £70 for a Revolution.

Yeah, I was just coming back to edit my post, I missed that part first time through for some reason.

If it were me, i'd have just bought a £5 job from PC World and put up with it for a day or two while I ordered an MX518.

I don't like the 620, it's going back tomorrow and I've got a 518 on order. I'll cope with this rubbish tat thing I have here until the 518 arrives.

MX 518 for me, as it has two thumb buttons, is cheaper and is wired.
