Post drinking = used to be peanut butter on toast.
Comfort food = mash with either mushy peas or beans and cheese :-D

I had a thought spurred by my shopping trip

Ribs, chips and corn on cob.

Got the corn and ribs cheap

Just to cheer Will up, here's my other comfort food, which I have been cooking as far back as I can remember...

That's a pack of sausages (cumberland), an onion, 4 cloves of garlic, half a pack of mushrooms, a can of baked beans and various herbs/spices/sauces (you can't see from the pic but it's actually piled up about 3 inches above the rim of the plate)...

It can actually serve at least 2-3, but when I do cook it it's because I'm feeling crap and I scoff the lot (there is currently an empty soup plate on the floor which may get washed up later :/)...

I was joking, I just imagined it looks pretty much the same - a white sludge designed to fill you up rather than actually taste good!
