They need someone to teach them how to configure DNS zones. The way you have it now - NS (without the D). DNS (with the D) has been configured incorrectly and resolves to some random server in Brazil.
![]() If you're still getting an old address, you need to flush DNS. That's ipconfig /flushdns on Windows. Not sure what other OS's use, but a reboot should almost always do the trick. PS - there was no point masking out the 'xxx' - took me about 5 seconds to fill in the blanks. ![]() Last edited by Mark; 25-08-2008 at 12:37. |

DNS information for a public website is public information whether you choose to show it or not - site won't work without it.
![]() PS - I can get your home address the same way I got the DNS. That would be where the risk would be, if you're suitably paranoid. Last edited by Mark; 25-08-2008 at 12:59. |

Yes, that all seems correct. I see you've added a Blog link to the homepage.

Indeed, as mark says, if anyone wants to, putting raymondlin.net in a WHOIS search engine, brings up all sorts of info, including those DNS addresses and your home address, mobile number and email.
That's mostly why I chose a .co.uk domain, as it allowed me to opt out of displaying such data publicly, I don't think you can do that with a .net

They both work for me and they're both pointing to the same IP address so you may need to flush your DNS cache. Close your web browser, open a command prompt and do 'ipconfig /flushdns' then try again.
