Ipod Touch help
I picked up a touch in America a few months back and love it. Only problem is the "where am I" feature on google maps doesn't work over here. is it the same for all uk itouch's or just ones that were bought in another country?

The iPod touch uses wireless access points to try and determine where you are and it gets that info from a lookup database, Skyhook. If your wi-fi spot isn't known by that database then it won't be able to locate you.
You can do what a lot of people have done, and that's to add yourself to the database using the page here. I've done it for both home and work and it knows where I am now. Some public hotspots are in the database already, I think all the btopenzone ones are.
