You sure can, my local Somerfield used to sell some. Ironically enough like the non-alcoholic lagers it was put on the top shelf. I'm sure there's a logic to it but I'd have thought that kids are more likely to be able to reach the lower shelves than the top.

No drinks tonight but I imagine the weekend might feature a drink or two.

Borrowing the audience if I may - I'm toying with the idea of buying a nice bottle (vintage this year) as a gift for keeping. Could anyone recommend a nice plonk that would age well?

I rally know nothing about wine. In fact I dont drink much other than cider these days.

That's a long time Daz, it'll have to be kept cool in the dark and on its side. A lot of wines won't keep that long from what I understand.
