Default Really stupid requests ...

Detectives are investigating the deaths of two women after their bodies were discovered in Birmingham.
...
Officers said they were in contact with the next of kin of the women, whose names have not yet been released. Anyone with information has been urged to contact detectives. (Link)
Exactly what (useful) information would the detectives like in relation to the two completely unidentified women?

A woman dialled 999 because a rabbit she bought via a newspaper advert did not have floppy ears ...
One call was from a woman splashed by a car which drove through a puddle.
Another man dialled 999 to ask call centre staff for the postcode to Grangemouth police station.

Their names have not been released, they are not unidentified.

The next of kin have ben informed so the deceased have been identified.

The Jupiter apartments have been named and two females in their 20s will likely be known and people spoken to in that building to try to get information. All occupants will be spoken to at the very least as part of the investigation.

An appeal for information is a general one and in time the names of the ddeceased will be released, probably sparking more people to come forward with information.

Mmm, Krispy Kreme - nice but not worth a quid a pop.
