Default Any good curry recipes?

I very very rarely make currys at home even though I love them (in fact I don't think I have ever made one that didn't have its sauce come out of a jar )
I think this is due to never finding a recipe which appeals to me.

I don't like tomatoes and I'm not a fan of milky/creamy currys which usually rules out quite a lot of recipes.

Does anyone have anything I can have a go at? To start with, the simpler the better

Tesco do a really good pre-mixed bag of spices. You just grind them up in a pestle & mortar, cook them with some onions, throw in some meat and stock, reduce, bung in some yoghurt and fresh coraiander and serve.

OM NOM ****ING NOM.

Can you taste the tomatoes at all?

No. If you could I wouldn't like it

My best advice would be to buy a tin of ghee and use it instead of vegetable oil. Makes the curry rich and sticky like you get in restaurants.
