Chillied Squid Rings! Yuuuurrrmmmy!
Pipsqueek this and nice starter!
1 x Squid (though the guy didn't have the tentacles Boo) 1/2 a Lime Chilli powder Salt Slice up your squid into rings, marinade in Lime juice, chilli powder and cracked salt. Grate the zest of the lime and chuck this in too. (If I had a chilli I would have probably sliced and diced this in too) Heat up wok and oil until super dooper hot, chuck in squid. Stir every-so-often. Serve when cooked (for me I like it 3-4mins in wok... maybe less... til it looks nommy) Nom it. It's simple. No frills. But my oh my it's nomticious! Plus! Super cheap, super cheap! |

I love squid too - never thought of cooking at home as MB no likey, but that's sounds quick and not too difficult + I hadn't realised it wasn't that expensive. I think I will give it a go - thanks Pheebs!

It's extremely cheap and BBQ's very well too. The tentacles are especially lovely on the BBQ. You need to be careful though as it can go a bit chewy if cooked for too long. Fresh squid is best and I always go for the baby ones because they're more tender.

What she said /\/\/\/\
A large tube cost us... about 90p? And that served us both as a starter So if you go for an ickler one it would cost nothing and you could nom it instantly without MB even seeing |
