I watched the video Daz suggested so know the story between 1 & 2 just not sure where the trailer fits in.

Speculation seems to say it is being launched November 17th.

I'm shocked at how much time people are spending combing this video but I must admit to finding it interesting

2 dates were found 'hidden' in the video, the November date and 01/06/09, which is indeed a Tuesday and Bungie tend to like Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Would make sense tied to the new achievements etc - They've never done skulls in multiplayer maps before and there are 6 new skull achievements which they wouldn't talk about.

Looking at the achievements and everything, I'll say big expansion with multiplayer maps and some campaign sidequesty type levels, sans Master Chief.
