I don't know if I am honest. From my experience looking on the outside in, I guess a lot of it is male bravado fueld with alcohol. From what I have seen it is usually someone's B'Day or stag do or something like that. Maybe some of them aren't in relationships and they see it just as a bit of fun.

I fail in understanding any of this. Male bravado and alcohol as an excuse? Surely not? How is being shagged senseless on stage infront of everyone, probably causing them to get some form of STD manly?

Any man in a relationship/due to get married etc at these things and that get involved in that way deserve to have their testiballs chopped off.

I've been to a couple of lapdancing places - one in Newcastle and one in Aberdeen.

The Aberdeen one was a slightly seedy place. There were no private cubicles for dances, it was all done in the open. I don't have a problem with the concept of it though I have been somewhat put off by it. I don't know, I went to my first one years ago as a fresher and I guess at the back of my mind I expected some random girl to do her stuff and I'd never see her again (sort of..the point of it). However got talking to her and found out she was in my year. I'm not entirely sure why I've not been since, but I now just don't see the point, since I can get a lot "more" by spending a lot less...
