They came out really well Mic hasn't made comment yet but I liked them and so did the Horde

You don't need the salt at all and I kept in the grated chocolate (more because I was auto pilot that for any other reason) which could be left out to make a "healthier" cookie

*thinks of all the sugar in them and giggles at the idea of a "healthy" cookie*

I was thinking of trying a nutty one but I'm not sure what nuts would be best. I was also looking at the various types of dried fruit in tesco and pondering attempts with a few of those.

(I'm not a cookie addict but I have a few things coming up where "donations to the kitchen" are welcomed and cookies are quicker to do than my normal quiches)

Macadamia nuts always go well in cakes and biscuits, so I'd try them. Chopped pecans would also be nice imo.

I agree on the salt front. I usually plain forget to put it in, but it was on the recipe, so I put it there. I also find that the grated chocolate bar just gives it... something. I bet putting the nuts in but keeping the grated chocolate would taste fab!!
