I'd also like to commend the developers for their heroine design. Its refreshing to see a strong female that doesn't wear hot pants and have massive norks (i'm looking at you Lara), shes also far hotter because of this

Well, i doubt i'll have bought all of the christmas titles that the PS3 has to offer by January, let alone having the best part of £200 for a 360 too. I'm one of those students that isn't loaded Also, god forbid owning a 360, i have very little spare time as it is due to the games the PS3 offers, with the insane back catalog the 360 offers i'd never see daylight again.

She reminds me of the heroine from Fear Effect.

Played the demo.

+ Love the ambience, the music, the setting and character
+ Love the idea of the gameplay
+ The trailder/advert that was released a few weeks back is my favourite trailer pretty much of all time

- Must be an idiot but I just can't do the springboards, everytime it's been more luck than judgement. Do you have to jump to land on them then time a jump again? Was tired last night so I'll try again today. But do feel the precision being asked for is a little unforgiving with instant death always a single mistake away. Again, once I get more familiar with the controls I may change this view.
- I feel it might get a bit samey

Over all it was refreshing and I do feel once I get the hang of the controls it could become quite a fluid breathtaking experience I'd want to repeat. Not sure I'll buy it day 1 but I'll definately pick it up at some point.

Good OP

Quick tap LB. That's what I did and it worked.

The game will feel samey in the same way walking in a game is samey, or driving in a game is samey. As long as it's not too linear and with the additions of Time Trials it should really expand its longevity.

I also agree with you about the trailer which is why I posted the music .

Great level design, awesome visuals and they actually pulled off the controls (I'd like a upside down Y axis though). I like the free running element and I can see once you get good at running and pulling off all the moves the game will flow really well, more so than the running in Assassin's Creed.

However, I would like the option of get to ground level if possible.

The demos trailer at the end seemed to hint at underground at least. Subway it looked like. I loved that demo. Really edge of your seat stuff. It reminds me of Crackdown in some ways. Are you going to make the jump? Loved the music. Reminds me of BT or Hybrid's recent work. It feels very Japanese too. Stylistically its clearly taken from Anime. Reminds me of Ghost in the Shell to some extent. I'm really hoping its no Assasins Creed though. Great gameplay element but not enough to really last for 8hrs. I really want to see more though.

One of the screenshots (this one) points to the underground too.

3rd time through now. I've noticed that there are multiple paths and I love hitting slow-mo just as you do a big jump.
