WOaaaaaah! Dude! You just tell people on the phone "Dude... I need a wee/poo, give me a minute and I'll call you back!" and you go wee!! Don't go getting yourself ill with work!
I am being a Queen procrastinator this week - normally I am work work work work work and completely obsessed with it in the day but this week is just poo (plus my sketch pad died on me which doesn't help things). So I've been tidying up loose ends I've been meaning to do for ages. But! I have a work time. 8am is when work starts, 5pm is when it stops. Sometime around 10:30 is tea making time and training the dog then around noon/one I have lunch (normally outside watching the dog go nuts or if not reading some news...) but I force myself to take them. You have to do the same! After 5pm say, no more computer for work! None! Put it away! You're officially closed! Else it'll become an unhealthy obsession and you'll make yourself poorly and we don't want that! Pets rock whilst being self employed. I would have lost the plot in February this year if I didn't have our Trio. She's b-e-aaaaaaaaaaaaaautiful |

Pheebs, you make much sense. Sadly I have a different problem - I'm a dab hand at procrastinating during the day and then end up working late to catch up. I may work best later in the day but that really isn't the point. Can't be healthy.

LOL!
I have so much to do though and no time to do it plus because the company does so many different things, I'm constantly moving from one mode of work to another. Also, if it pays you find you can't turn it down so when the chance came recently, of me working away on a project at consultant rates whilst continuing to do my external project work, I took it. I was more than doubling the rates that I ever got even on London contract work but unfortunately, I'm not very money-motivated which means I don't really appreciate it. It's OK someone saying to me, "but the money's good", but that just doesn't work for me and it probably should because then at least I'd probably feel better about having to work so hard and for such long hours. Of course, the alternative is much worse - that the company goes down the pan because I don't take all the work I'm offered. I will achieve a work/life balance sometime, just not yet
