Once they'd decided to go "no Gort" then it was always going to be less than great IME.

I haven't seen the original I'm somewhat ashamed to admit but I can't imagine all that well is the simple answer. They do have a GORT in the film but it's at least 50ft tall and CGI, I don't want to give too much more away in case anyone else does want to watch it though.

It shows my taste in films that upon reading that line the first thing that sprang into my mind was Bruce.

It's an N word, it's definitely an N word.
Anyway, last film I watched was Thunderball. It's one of my favourite Bond films. Bond girls I wouldn't kick out of bed for eating crisps and farting, great soundtrack and the Avro Vulcan.

Superb.

Umm.. that doesn't make sense. Surely if they have Keanu, they HAVE the robot?

Just watched Wall-E on blu ray (720p). Can't compare picture quality to a normal release as I've only seen it in the cinema, but what I can say is the quality is fantastic no blurring, not flickering, but spot on.

As others have said, quite a slow start but there are plenty of chuckles throughout and still the not OTT environmental message. Glad to see that Presto made it onto the disc, and Burn-E the other extra on the main disc confused me to start with, but made sense after a couple of minutes and was actually pretty good

Did you spot the 14 frames of film they wanted him to cut?

This film is still in my top 5 films released this year. Possibly as high as 3rd - will have to think about it a bit more.
