Cheets - sorry to hear that mate - I wish him a speedy recovery and hope that this time of the year isn't marred by upset.
Nokkon - crikey, I've seen some things in my life, but that would have been horrid

Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped writing about other things and made this your signature, yours could be like mine. Look down, back up. Where are you? You're on Boat Drinks, reading the signature your signature could be like. I'm on a computer. |

Jesus Christ Cheets & NokkonWud Really hope your Dad gets better extremely soon, Cheets. It can happen to anyone!
My Mum helped with the Christmas spirit yesterday and gave me a few bits to make decorations from, so I've done quite a nice wreath with cinnamon sticks, orange slices etc. on. I've also made myself a list of things to do this morning, so I don't just end up sat here for the next 3 days. Going to grab myself a shower and then do the food shopping before all the mothers and screaming kids get there! Ugh.

I've got one present to buy and a few to wrap, but otherwise sorted. Food's bought now, need a couple more bits but I'll get them tomorrow. Tree has been up for a few weeks now

Still have to wrap all (I say all, in reality I'm skint and people are getting pretty much nothing) my presents for people.

One present is yet to arrive, the rest is wrapped. First Christmas away from home so I've escaped my Mum having THE FEAR.
"OMFG WHERES THE TURKEY" "OMFG DO I HAVE ENOUGH VEG?!?" "OMFG DO WE HAVE ANY GOOD CHRISTMAS MUSIC" "OMFG I FORGOT THE CRACKERS" "OMFG THE NEIGHBOURS HAVE BOUGHT US A PRESENT. QUICK, GET THEM OUT A TIN OF ROSES FROM THE EMERGENCY PRESENT BOX" Yes, we have an emergency present box, containing several chocolates and sweets, wrapped and untagged ready to give to somebody who may surprise my Mum last minute
