And/or decent painkillers.

I have problems with my back and sometimes have to take diclophenac (not sure how it's spelt). And wear a back support.

Gentle hugs, hope you are feeling better soon.

i get a very sharp pain between my shoulder blades from time to time, like a trapped nerve, and it's excruciating - really stops my range of movement. I get the girlfriend to hold onto something and walk slowly up my back as i lay flat on a hard floor and you can feel it sort of "pop" back into place, it then feels sort of dulled and 1/2 an hr later it's gone

just make sure you have some trust in your girlfriend/wife/child/boyfriend/big dog and talk them through slowly shifting their weight up you. Also make sure they aren't enormously heavy The gf's probably less than 10st, but i'd risk up to a 12stoner
