Noooooo they cant remake "The Birds" how dare they meddle with Hitchcock! It seems they can just remake whatever they fancy. How long before they remake The Godfather? Probably staring Tom Cruise or Will Smith. Stanley Kubrik had the right idea by destroying the sets and props from 2001:

Didn't stop 2010 being made though did it? Ok, it wasn't a remake but they just made copies of the sets and props.

I agree, some of these films listed are ridiculous, purely because I remember a lot of them first time round. How dare someone remake a film that I saw the original of. I'm not old enough for this to happen
