Background fill-in music
I like those little heard of groups that do the music you normally hear filling in between scenes on the likes of Top Gear and documentaries. I regularly recognise music from Cinematic Orchestra, Unkle, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Air, Nouvelle Vague and a few others but there's always plenty I don't recognise. What groups do you hear regularly?

I am subjected to 9 hours of 40 hits of (insert random decade) crap on the 2 nights I work but the store is shut. A tinny player is rigged to the tannoy system which sounds like dried peas in a baked bean can being shook whilst it/rattles out such delights as kajjagoogoo or some other tripe Brain damage doesn't even start to explain what it does to you when even when you go have your paid for crap you still can't get away from it
I have got to get myself an MP3 player before my head Explodes & I come out I can just imagine it now Me in the lights of the ARV's there doors open & the rozzers pointing H&K's at me from behind there doors, Freeze Mofo, They take me down Rozzer 1 looks me in the eye disgusted at the absolute carnage he has seen inside the supermarket he stands outside & asks the inevitable question, Why JSB Just Why son you was a good lad There is a coff & a splutter & then in my dying breathe I would say JSB 1 Tinny music to the head 0 -----^------^-------------^----------------------------------- Here endeth the hijack |

Yep, Propellerheads for any pseudo-spy background music (On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Spybreak), and EZ-Rollers for any Guy Ritchie style heist theme!

It's also used in Spaced at the start of one of the episodes.
Edit: Actually, I think I'm thinking of Spandex Man.

Mr Scruff, I've seen that guy like 4 times live yet I'm not even sure if I like his stuff . I even bought an apple at one of this do's, and had a cuppa.
Not sure if this applies here, but I'm a huge fan of movie scores. They can in my opinion raise a film a level on their own.
