Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection
Anyone else got/getting this?
I managed to get a copy today after trading in CoD:WaW. Was rather surprised to see that my local Blockbuster had sold out as well as a few others locally, finally got a copy in the end though. For £20, equating as 50p a game, it's well worth it so far Sure some of the games are hideously dated, and a few are older than people I work with But I like the memories that The Story of Thor, Sonic, Streets of Rage and Golden Axe bring. Also means I can finally play Shining Force, Golden Axe 3 and SoR3 Oh plus it seems very easy points if you're that way inclined.

I'd like to get it if I can. Have to see how the finances work out.

This is definitely on my wanted list, either as a rental or picking it up sometime in the future. Some of the games on there will bring back so many memories, and the fairly easy points will be a bonus as well

Bit worried at how crap I am at some games though I used to be amazing at The Story of Thor and a few others, and now I struggle

One of the few Megadrive games I actually finished! I can probably count them on one hand...
Edit: Just spotted it has Streets of Rage 3 on it too. Original copies often go for £50+ on eBay!

How good is the upscaling on this? Part of me hopes they've done a proper job and remastered everything, the other part tells me to stop being so stupid.

You can also set the screen to 4:3 or 16:9 and it does work quite well. I was expecting some games to look hideous once full screen and they don't look that bad

It's Nokkon on Psy's PC....
I can only echo Haly's words, it's superb to have to many titles and the video quality itself is pretty good, even when playing on a 24" monitor. You can add the filter and it doesn't look great on all games, but on something like Columns it's definitely an improvement. It's off by default. Also, the range of achievements definitely adds something with some being a lot easier than others.
