I’ve always been a bit of a bookworm. As an only child, books were my only constant companion and as yet, have never let me down.

Recently, I’ve rediscovered Thomas Hardy, and now I’m a bit older, his works seem completely different to those boring old books I was forced to read when I was at school. I guess while some things stay the same, others change.

Ooh I like today's pics from everyone! Love the colourful scissors Jen!

I hope to go back to the place I photographed today and do some more pics, when it's not blowing a gale and lashing it down. It's an interesting area.

Ok I've finally managed to get my first photo done of the year As I said I won't be attempting to do one a day but more likely one a week. Here is the entry for this week.

ive always wondered this - any hobby / pro photographers who copyright symbol their photos, how do you stand when it's photos of something that surely already is copyright in itself?
i've noticed it on a few forums - just never asked.
anyone have any ideas?

It depends. If you goto an art gallery and take a close up its essentially a reproduction and can be seen as a violation of copyright. If you go to an art gallery and use a really wide lens to photograph the space and the artwork is just there in the background its ok.

Some fun shots today. You didn't buy all the scissors did you Haly?

No, only bought 1 set of 3 scissors!
Just looked cool in the big bin thing so thought it was worth a shot

Well its a Monday. Feeling very blank and this pic sorta sums it up. Tomorrow should be less of a blank day.
