I can see the thought behind use of clingfilm in more open wounds like burns but not tats/grazes.

The idea with cling film is that if you knock a scab off it can end up making the tat patchy/faded in places. If you don't allow the tat to scab (by using the cling film) then you're reducing the risk of it scabbing and possibly ending up with patchy work.
As said before, people have different recommendations on how to look after a fresh tat and as long as it works that is all that really matters

I'm liking the tat more and more.

When it starts to itch a spoonful of pyratin does wonders!

I also used baby wash to clean it and always dabbed it with kitchen roll when I came out the shower. There's so many different ways to look after tattoos. As long as it doesn't get infected you're doing ok

Tats also tend to dry out quickly (as the body heals it creates heat) so having them wrapped in cling film keeps the moisture next to the skin so that scabs don't form.

If you do get scabs form Mr Feek then DO NOT pick at them as you will lose colour from the tat and it will end up very patchey.

I used to cover my arms with cling film when I had really bad excema/dermatitis, it was slightly different as part of the problem was me absent mindedly scratching in my sleep but it did help it heal up faster.

Freshly washed after fifteen minutes or so to air dry before applying the Tattoo Goo

And here it is a couple of minutes later with Goo - I need to teach LMF how to hold a camera perpendicular and straight!

The Hubbsta is a mental scab picker and so he has lots of patches on his tat.
