I'm feeling like a sad little geek now. In Fifa 09 Ultimate Team, you can train your players using training cards. Each card has a positive effect on one skill, and a small negative effect on another skill. Using a Head Coach you can use these cards to really good effect by increasing the positive effects, and even turning the negatives into positives (ie, turning a -1 on shooting into a +1 instead). Trying to figure out exactly which head coach is best for which card can be a pain at times, so I've just made a quick Excel workbook so I can put the training card details in and instantly see who would be the best coach to use for that card.

My defence, albeit a very minor one, is that I'm bored stiff in work and was looking for something to do to occupy myself and stop myself falling asleep. Poor excuse though

Ooooh, I want the workbook! there's a points calculator kicking around too, I have that on my PC, but not tried it yet!
Fifa Ultimate Team is arguably the best DLC I've ever had for a game, I love it. I still believe that had it been in Fifa 09 from that start it's all anyone would play anyway. |

Had a few scorewhoring days lately although not to the detriment of fun
Besides Monopoly, I ordered the Trivial Pursuit/Burnout Paradise: Ultimate Box set for £16 off softuk as I've been wanting a copy of Trivial Pursuit for social gaming since it came out. Trivial Pursuit is excellent fun. Besides liberally throwing out achievements, it's just plain fun and makes a refreshing change from Scene It which me and my Mum had played to death a bit too much! Not tried the free movie DLC for Trivial Pursuit yet but that's bound to be handy. Just had an hour of Burnout Paradise and that's good fun too. Perhaps not something I'd have normally bought but as part of the bundle, it's great. I haven't properly played a Burnout game since Burnout 3 on the Xbox, forgotten how fast it is Quite liking the sandbox style feel to it, vaguely reminds me of Need for Speed Underground 2 (my favourite street racing game in recent years). Looks like it may provide great stress relief too Creature's probably going to get worried now, as I'm only about 800 points behind him now.

I'm not worried at all, i'm just waiting for it to happen. I've known it's been coming for a while, so the sooner you pass me the better.....it's more fun chasing a target than being one

Very true!
I reckon we'll be leapfrogging each other for a while to come yet as neither of us are particularly whoring points at the moment.

Bah, with you two not scorewhoring much it's an ideal time for me to do it to try and catch you both up, but I just can't drag myself away from Fifa long enough to do it. I'm pretty much resigned to never catching you both up again.
