Doesn't make a difference if it clears from Paypal, if Paypal were to decide to refund the buyer for whatever reason they'd just stick the account in the negative and hassle you to pay off your debt.

So I should just take the risk, send her the goods and hope that she isnt trying to pull a fast one?
Its very annoying looking at 77 quid in my paypal that I cant draw out.

At the end of the day, selling on eBay and to a slightly lesser extent buying is an 'at your own risk' deal. It's part of the reason I just don't use it.

Sorry to keep harping on, but I sent the buyer a message saying would she be willing to give me positive feedback so I could release the funds from my paypal account (basically so I knew she wasnt trying to pull a fast one) ive heard nothing back since. The money is sat there saying "pending" in my ebay, but i've since sent a further message asking if she got my other message, and no reply to that either. (first one was Friday, second one this morning)

I can only really get to the post office this week tomorrow to send them recorded, any ideas?

I think I'm more trusting of eBay than most as I've never (*knocks on wood*) had a bad experience, but I would say wait until you've at least had a reply from them.

To be perfectly honest Knips, if a seller sent me a message asking me to give positive feedback before they'd sent the item out, I'd tell them to swivel. Once they've done that they have absolutely no comeback whatsoever if you don't send the tickets and how are they to know that you're the real deal? If this is the way Paypal now works, you'll have to send them the item recorded and get it insured for the correct amount. That way, if they try and claim they haven't received it, you're covered.

I know they don't have much feedback, but it doesn't mean they're out to screw you over. This, as with all purchases relies on a bit of trust between the parties. There is no risk-free way of selling anything like that.

Like Kel, I've never had a bad experience with Paypal, even when I had to claim off someone for not sending out a £70 item. He admitted to it though and I got everything back.

I will send the tickets tomorrow and get the right level of postage insurance.

I can't help but wonder if there is someone on another forum very much like this one, writing a post about this person on ebay who has asked them to give positive feedback before they have received the goods and are they trying to rip them off.

Im honestly not trying to rip anyone off
If it was someone who had been an ebay member before now and bought and sold stuff I wouldnt even be worrying, but theyve only been on ebay since the day before they bought my tickets, so im just wary is all.
