Default New car

I can haz wheels again! Huzzah!

I was getting VERY despondent and was considering seriously hiking my budget (which would have defeated the object of selling the Megane slightly!), no-one is selling their old cars, I'm assuming due to the scrappage deals you get now.
Anyway, Mike spotted this car on Ebay, being sold by a well respected Saab dealer. 2 hours later I own this -

Saab 9-5 2.0t something or other, SE rings a bell but I cant be arsed to go out and get the paperwork.

The dealer gave £1500 for it in P/X, I paid the princely sum of £871. It has a years MOT, it's pretty much spotless, fsh, 1 owner, it's fully loaded and all the gizmos work too, it still has the original Saab hazard triangle in the boot! There's a problem with one of the dash displays (will be sent off and sorted for £40) and it needs some wheel bearings (MtE is on a mission) but other than that it's brilliant! Took it down to Lakeside with all the girls in it and it was ace, really comfy and very quick, cruises easily and a very effortless drive.

V pleased

Considering Pebs is trying to save money

I like Saabs definitely a sensible and good compromise - glad you're happy with it.

I still have a soft spot for the center mounted key switch cars!!

We had a 1980 900 GLE with almost a million miles on it (no, I'm not kidding). It was the most comfortable car we've owned. And Good Lord that thing was built like Fort Knox!!

It looks like you got a hell of a deal on it, too. Even looks nice!!
