I'm currently playing Saints Row 2 and Midnight Club : Los Angeles.
I don't remember a great deal about the original Saints Row apart from it was short, fun and beat any GTA games to "next gen" but one thing i have noticed about SR2 is it seems graphically poorer. Some textures are just down right bland. It also suffers from poor vehicle handling and poor framerate issues. All this aside, i am enjoying it's over the top storyline and it's still fun. Midnight Club? Well it's very much like Test Drive Unlimited, except graphically better in EVERY way. Granted the map size is smaller but TDU was a tree filled island with the odd urban area! Midnight Clubs difficulty level ramps up quite quickly, the CPU very rarely EVER makes a mistake. Which makes for very close call races and sometimes infuriating races. I'm quite enjoying it though. Oh and for anyone who likes product placement in games,my God Midnight Club is ridden with it. inFamous Demo
It's not bad but something about the game doesn't sit quite right with me.... Not sure if it would have much long term appeal either....

With that said, i got the full game yesterday and am loving it, the storyline and characters are excellent and the extra powers combined with the lower level of the 'standard' powers at the start make for a really varied combat experience. Also the enemies later on in the game are much cooler.

The opening sequence gave was a bit loose on details Also I think you maybe right about the overpowered stuff - was trying to do a stunt (from the pause screen) which was kill someone with a melee finisher. Stupid guys usually die in 2 hits :/ I'll see if there's any stock at work today

I still need around 30 agility orbs in Crackdown, and I'm determined to get them all. Part of me wants to delete my save game so I can start from scratch with a map and mark them off as I find them, as I'm not really sure where the other 30 will be. I do love the game though, 4 player co-op in the sequel is gonna rock

Still toying around with L4D .. I have to say I'm finding it quite entertaining and compulsive. I've teamed up with a few guys on OcUk who are being very patient with me because I'm a complete noob at on-line shooters
I'm on tonight if anyone fancies a blast.
