BT HomeHub - Any good?
Hi all,
The in-laws have just come into possession of a Home Hub which they don't really want (not using wireless and don't intend to). They've offered it to me - are they any better than the standard Belkin wireless router I'm using at the moment? I know Belkin don't have a great rep but I've not had any problems with it - I'm just wondering if there's any decent features, speed, etc that would mean it's worth having the HH. I'm on Be, if that matters. Ta, Brigs.

You can only use the Home Hub with a BT broadband connection unfortunaltely. I believe you could 'jailbreak' the original v1 routers, but that'll be no better than your Belkin. The nicer v2 routers (with N wireless) haven't been broken afaik.

If you're with BT though it does the job. I thought it was a bit weak on the wireless, but the new O2 one we have now we've switched has the same issues in the same spots, so it's obviously the house!
